Tonight, I'm watching a NASCAR race. I've never sat through one before and have no idea who drives what car or what I'm supposed to be looking for. I'm curious how many people tune in just waiting to see if something crashes and explodes? One thing I'm fascinated with so far are the sparks (although it looks like fire) when they make the turns around the track. I assume that's from the brakes. (Or perhaps it's a tiny man with 4th of July sparklers hiding under the vehicle.)
I once tried to drive a simulator race car at the mall and I crashed into the wall before the race was even 10 seconds old.
This just in... the number 48 car just caught smoke and zipped across the track. Probably just a sneaky way to get LOWES (which is plastered on the hood) some free advertising.
